Mission Statement


To be responsive to all City employees, to provide accurate information regarding questions relating to employee benefits. To ensure all employees receive the most comprehensive level of benefits and entitlements.

Background


The Personnel Department is responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining employee benefits and services to support City employees. The Human Resources Director is responsible for improving compensation policies, procedures, andpractices that meet legal requirements. The Director also must maintain a good working relationship with providers of various benefits offered by the City.

The City of Los Banos Personnel Policy Manual, as adopted by Council Resolution, is maintained and updated annually to reflect current legal requirements and employee benefits. The Human Resources Department is located at City Hall, 520 "J" Street, Los Banos, California 93635.
