Pride in Service, Integrity in Action. My staff and I would like to welcome you to the official site of the Los Banos Police Department! We are all excited to work in this growing and changing community. Though there are challenges to be conquered and issues to be handled, Los Banos is a great place to live and raise a family. Crime is generally low and the small town atmosphere is a refreshing experience. The police department will soon be embarking on a technology upgrade that will give us greater abilities to access information in the field. We also hope to make some of these exciting changes available through our web site as well. Please be patient as this upgrade will not take place overnight. Our future goal is to better communicate with Los Banos residents through our web presence. Police Officers cannot successfully fight crime in our town without your help. It is very important for each and every individual to become involved in what is going on in their neighborhood. Los Banos Police Department sponsored programs such as Neighborhood Watch, Volunteers Interacting to Advance Law Enforcement (VITAL), and Chaplains are just a few of the key ways that the public assists us in our function. We need everyone’s input to keep our community safe. Please let us know how you can help!
