PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Los Banos invites sealed bids for the above stated project and will receive such bids in the offices of the City Clerk at 520 J Street., Los Banos, California 93635 up to the hour of 3:00 P.M. June 29, 2017, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. May 31, 2017 at City Hall located at 520 J Street, Los Banos, California 93635 to be followed by a field walkthrough at the project site.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required by the contract documents for City Hall Addition at 520 J Street, Los Banos, California 93635 as per project specifications, consisting of the following scope of work: Minor demolition work, remove and replace existing interior walls, ceiling and floor finishes, frames, doors, windows and electrical lines; expand floor space by approximately 350 square feet, construct exterior walls, and roof, provide new structural and cosmetic elements and all work related as per project set of plans and specifications in coordination between the City of Los Banos and the Contractor for the compliance and implementation of work special conditions and time schedules. Demolition debris and waste materials shall be recycled or diverted.
Bid packages are available at Fire Station #1, 333 7th Street, Los Banos, California 93635 upon payment of a $35.00 non-refundable fee ($85.00 if mailed); or in digital format at the City’s website at www.losbanos.org.
